This is something I have never done before or posted about.
Please let me know what you think…is this a neat idea, or not?
I have started gathering props and blankies for my newborn {boy} session on Monday. I love the color scheme.

I thought the day was going to be BEAUTIFUL as I looked out the window and was talking to Sara’s mom on the phone.
I was telling her the sun just came out. The closer I got to their house (we going to walk to spot down the street from their home) the
darker it got and then the dreaded rain. I kept my fingers crossed, hoping it would let up. FAT CHANCE!
It just kept coming down, not pouring, but everything by this time was pretty much wet.
We took a few shots on the back deck and then I managed to talk Sara in to “trying” some shots in her room. I LOVE them!!!
They are totally personalized, with pictures on her wall and her favorite pink stuffed bear. I mean I really LOVE them!
We were able to get outside, but everything was still wet, but I think we had a blast, laughing and sneaking in to peoples yards
as we walked to the park. {I seen a great little tree} ![]()
You should know by now I LOVE SNEAKING where I am not supposed to go.
Sara & Brenda you TWO put on your happy faces and made the best of what we had. I don’t think from looking at the images that
anyone could ever tell we were RAINED OUT!
ENJOY!!!
This little guy was NOT in the mood today as he was pretty tired. He missed his nap.
But I think he had FUN regardless. I mean really…how many kids get to pull around an old wagon with a tree in it, get to play with the
ornaments Christmas tree, watch dogs jumping at the fence and lets not forgot play the headbutting game with his mommy mom, all in one day.
Here a few of the shots we got.
ENJOY!
Look at little Lily.
Not one peep out of this little darling. It was TOUGH to get a smile out of her, but I think her mommy got a GREAT workout, with all the jumping around like a ROCK STAR {behind me} she was doing to “try” to her her to smile. Not many smiles but boy we still got some awesome pictures.
The rocking chair was made by Grandpa…awwwww.
ENJOY!
This was a wet, muddy & slippery session at the pumpkin patch field. We snuck in to a couple of areas that I’am sure were off limits, but I swear they made me do it. Just kidding, it was my idea.
They kept the smiles on, even when it started raining. Shauna you have a fun & beautiful family. You guys were a blast!
ENJOY!
Irina was such a fabulous subject, her having some runway modeling experience, I almost had to say nothing to her, she just made little graceful movements, which it it a snap for me.
She was up for pretty much anything. Fun and easy!
ENJOY!
Christa is one of my good friends sister and was here on a visit from Michigan.
Christa was kind of shy at first, but about half way in to her session, she let loose and we ended up
having a blast and as usual with my sessions, lots of belly laughs and even maybe a couple of snorts.
I guess it’s to be expected when you have 3 women in a room together. LOL
Thank you Stashia for bringing Christa for her maternity portraits.
ENJOY!
Emily here is your sneak peek.
You did a fabulous job during your shoot and made me laugh ALOT. Thankx
Have a fun and great senior year!!! ENJOY!!!
Baby A’s session was very LONG and super HOT! But we got some great shots.
So here I am, putting myself all out there!
I thought it would be kind of fun to let you see me at work. The pictures with me in them were provided by {Baby J’s Grandma} then the resulting images were taken and edited by me {Out of the Box Photography}. Pleasse excuse the naked back. I would have worn a longer shirt if I knew she was going to be taking pictures. And no…I usually do not allow other people take pictures durning their session but…
