Who wouldn’t want a stylized and custom themed 1st birthday/cake smashes. How FUN is this?

 

I need happy, photogenic kids, great hair is always a plus.

I’m looking to shoot 2 stylized, custom cake smash sessions for $125, which will include digital files and the cake for smashing.

The shoot will be a little more detailed then these images here on this blog post.I would like to get these booked now, as it will take 2-3 weeks to brain storm with parents and my baker, not to mention most details will be handmade.

Doulaville Seattle is a collective of doulas, family educators and birth professionals who partner to bring comprehensive resources and support to area families as they welcome a new baby into their home. We attend births in hospitals, birth centers and homes and then provide in home postpartum support. Servering Marysville to Olympia, WA.

Why hire Doulaville?

Most families hiring a doula employ us to attend their birth so they can benefit from the emotional and physical support and guidance of a trained birth coach. The benefits of doulas are well documented in research, but we also provide support and classes to expecting families through pregnancy and postpartum. Morning sickness and bedrest can be really challenging experiences but hiring a doula to come to your home to take care of you and your needs can made a world of difference. Adjusting to a new baby is a big change for anyone so hiring a postpartum doula can help you get the help you need with older children, housework and breastfeeding that will help you have a happy babymoon. Our childbirth and family education classes also help you get the knowledge and skills you will need as you become a parent

This little baby girl came for a visit at 6 days new for her newborn portraits. She only weighed 5lbs 3oz, I could not believe how healthy she looked. She has big hands and feet for such a itty bitty.

I mean she was little but didn’t really have the massive loose skin like my 5lb 6oz baby did. She slept so well and so did her Mommy & Daddy. {wink, wink}

Really it was just a few minutes.

 

 

 Good time to catch up on some zzzz’s!

 P.S. Jayne, I am still waiting on that Mario Lopez autograph!

These kids ROCKED their photo shoot, during the Spring mini sessions.

It was really fun to be able to get a couple sibling photos.  I usually shoot one child/newborns.

HAPPY. SMILING. FACES.

 

 

We all got a little wild and crazy/silly.  I think we had a Mom and Dad laughing more then the kids did,

but as to why they were laughing, that is out little secret. Lets just say I purposely embarrassed myself over and over and over again.

The kids got some Easter type candy treats at the end for doing  such a fantastic job. You would have thought they were pros.

Thank you to all of you  who came to the  Out of the Box Photography Spring mini session event.  And a special thanks to those,

who helped spread the word about the event. It means a lot to me!  I can not forgot my Hubby, for making the yellow bench for this event. Love him.

I’m going to start the story off a little backwards this time. Meet Chris and Jayne new parents to a newborn baby girl {six days new}. Being pregnant can be exhausting, while having your newborn portraits taken, can be beyond RELAXING. Just look Chris and Jayne were so relaxed, they grabbed a little cat nap. LOL This is a true story. You will have to stay tuned to see some of the newborn session images.

I LOVE this!

So much FUN!

 

I hear my choice of ice cream is really good, but I wouldn’t know Chris ate it all. {just kidding}. Chris put a peice of pickle on top of her ice cream. She liked it, so did he. hmmm I’ll pass thank you. ;P

I kind of have to laugh when I think about how many pairs of  Huggalugs I have, I’m going to guess that I have about 50 maybe more, some I have a set for little kids and big kids. I totally adore this little guy and his  family, and was honored to do ANOTHER portrait session for them.

Baby J was made his way in to this world on Halloween, all I can say is I bet he is going to have some boo~tacular birthday parties. That would make for one heck of a cake smash. {hint, hint}
His parents were amazing and Dad beyond helpful. The last shot of me in action is courtesy of Dad. Thanks great capture.

Six weeks and 4 days new.

Once we got her to sleep, she was out for the count.

I will certainly be getting one or two of these printed for the studio.

18 sessions in 2 days. What a blast!!! Thank you all for coming out. It was awesome to see some old faces and great to meet several new ones.
There was lots of mini marshmallows being thrown at Santa and me, Grandma’s throwing candy canes on the floor and lots of kid’s wondering who this Santa guy is and why we wanted them to sit on his lap. With alittle trickery we got MOST of them on his lap, or at least sitting next to him. LOL
